Unnatural

Jeff Cooper poses a question that I've been asking myself for some time: "Does this look and feel like a natural market to you?"

My answer: "No way."

Forced price action. Futures led. Declining volume. Automated. Agenda driven. The action feels manipulated. Manipulated by non-economic buyers.

A manipulation that can last only so long.

There are a handful of companies that have created algorithms with the ability to take information pulled from data feeds and transform it into highly readable copy almost indistinguishable from content created by flesh-and-blood human beings.
